Window To Heaven

There came a time when I was down

My heart heavy, my spirit broken

I knew not what to do

In my weakness, I fall to the ground

My tears fell to the earth

My fists clenched the grass

I felt sorry for myself

I do not how much time past

Finally, I rolled over and looked to see an early moon

The sun was hanging low

Surrounded in rich color of every hue

I watched it slowly sink lower

The moon pushing it away

Signifying an end, to another day

It was there in my sorrow

I lay mesmerized

Unable to tear my eyes away

From the beautiful sky

I saw a window open

Between the sun and the moon

A great beam of light

Began to shine through

Suddenly, it occurred to me

What I had just witnessed

A window to heaven

Opened up for me

As the sun fell down

A day now history

God is sending a message

He is letting me know

Just as the day ended

My sorrow will go

The sun will rise

Within my heart again

I need to place my trust in God

As I reach to touch His hand

Windows to heaven

Will always be open

His shining light, will always burst through

Windows to heaven

Will always be open

Put your trust in Jesus

He will get your through

Higher And Higher

The clouds burst open and Christ appears

"It's time to come home.”

Christ is come. The time is now.

Are you lost or are you found?

Housewives, police and truckers too

Arise and fill the sky

East, west, north and south

Dancing and shouting in the sunrise

Christ has come, The King is here

The time has come,The time is today

“Hallelujah, I have been found!”

“Come unto me”, Christ did say

The power of Christ, electrifying

He pulled the sky apart

Suddenly my feet leave the ground

For Christ resides within my heart

Higher and higher, I rise up

I am not the least bit scared

For I am filled with the Holy Spirit

Thank God, my soul has been spared

Crystal Wind

The crystal wind blows through the trees

Will it break under the breeze

It chimes as it hits the branches and leaves

Sounds like a woman as it blows through the shutters

Delicate and frail it sounds to the ear

But she fools you, she is stronger than she appears

Tackles the leaves covered in ice

A winter melody orchestrated

Perfect and nice

She blows through an old house

Abandoned for years

Reputed to be haunted

For ghosts party goers

Coming out at night

Drinking, dancing and putting on a show

Putting on a fright

The wind will blow

Making the curtains dance

Scaring passersby

Frozen into a trance

Crystal wind continues to blow

Enjoying her bone chilling job

Keeping her young as a sprite

She happily goes on

Giving kids a fright

Continues to chime through the air

Songs she has written and plays

Year after year
